![]() ALCOA, TN (January 20, 2017) — McAlister’s® Deli celebrated the grand re-opening of its restaurant located in at 465 Marilyn Lane in Alcoa, TN on Friday, January 20. The newly remodeled location features the brand’s new store design with upgraded features for guests, including additional booths, an Alcoa landmark mural, and more. The restaurant has been a part of the Blount County community for more than 10 years, first opening in August of 2006, and is looking forward to many more years of serving guests in the area. To celebrate the re-opening and renovation investment, the Alcoa McAlister’s Deli held a ribbon cutting January 20, at 10:15 a.m. Members of the Blount Partnership and Chamber, as well as the Mayor of Blount County, Ed Mitchell, Mayor of Alcoa, Don Mull, and Commissioner Kenneth White, were on hand for the celebration, and the first 25 guests in line that day received a free McAlister’s Tumbler and a free Tea Cup Sweater Koosie. “We want to thank our loyal guests in the Blount County community for over 10 great years at this location. We are very excited to show our new look to our valued guests,” said Jeff Shawl, co-owner of Peak Restaurants. Chris Smith, co-owner of Peak Restaurants added, “We look forward to continuing to provide great food and our McAlister’s genuine hospitality in our remodeled restaurant.” The Alcoa McAlister’s Deli, Peak Restaurants’ fifth location, has experienced phenomenal growth and has been a key component to the Company’s success over the past 15 years.
