McAlister's Deli Participates in Scavenger Hunt for Blount County's One-Book Blitz

Alcoa, TN. (February 4, 2019) — This February, Alcoa participated in Blount County's scavenger hunt for the One-Book Blitz, a county-wide initiative across all K-5 schools in Blount County, Alcoa, and Maryville that aims to foster a joy of reading. The book for this year's event was Mr. Popper's Penguins.

Deanna, a team member at McAlister's Alcoa, was featured in the kick-off video for the One Book Blitz, and a little penguin even nestled in the McAlister's "M" as a clue during the event's scavenger hunt.
