Megan Deal Earns Recognition from McAlister's Deli as Outstanding Educator

Alcoa, TN. (June 4, 2020) — To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, we asked you to nominate teachers who have had a positive influence in your life and in our community. Today, we announce one of our winners of Outstanding Educator in Alcoa, TN!

Megan Deal has been a homeschool mom for years. She has a daughter going into the 4th grade, a son who will be starting kindergarten, and a 1-year-old. 

"She loves taking part in her children's education and helping them learn and grow," said nominator Sherry Montgomery. "Now more than ever parents are realizing how demanding and time consuming being a teacher or even more a homeschool teacher really is. She is a wonderful mom/teacher who try's to make each day fun and educational."

Megan is awarded a McAlister's gift card as well as an Outstanding Educator certificate from McAlister's. Congratulations, Megan, and thanks for all you do!
