Roanoke, VA. (September 6, 2018) — In early September, Peak Restaurants donated around 30 pounds of peanut butter to Feeding America Southwest Virginia, a food bank whose primary function is to secure large quantities of food for the hungry across Southwest Virginia, from Lee County to Alleghany County.

Thank you so much for your donation today of approximately 30 pounds of
peanut butter you collected at McAlister’s Deli. Peanut butter is one of the most
sought food items for our charitable food distribution programs. Peanut butter is
a healthy protein – so often lacking in the diets of the food insecure. We thank
you for your support of our drive.
