Bristol, TN. (March 12, 2020) — At our Leadership Meeting in early March, Peak Restaurants announced our award winners for 2019. We awarded our 2019 Manager of the Year, General Manager of the Year, and Restaurant of the Year, among other awards. Manager of the Year – Justin McMillanJustin has been at our Kingsport location since early last year. He has been a vital piece of Kingsport's success since his arrival, and this recognition is well-deserved! Manager of the Year – Zach ParrishZach has been a factor at our stores across the Tri-Cities. He started with us 6 years ago in BOH making sandwiches, and has since moved into a management role. He's currently a Manager at Bristol, and continues to do great work there. General Manager of the Year – Susan HorneSusan is Peak's first ever two-time GM of the Year Award recipient. She started with Peak in 2007, and has been an important part of many of our locations since then, from Pigeon Forge to Roanoke. She's been the GM at Johnson City for 2016. (January 31, 2020) — On Monday, February 24th, McAlister's in Blacksburg, Roanoke, and Lynchburg, VA will donating 10% of our sales from 5-10 p.m. to Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center.
BRAAC is a day school licensed by the Virginia Department of Education whose mission is to help children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder and learning disabilities. (January 31, 2020) — On Monday, February 17th, McAlister's Delis in the Tri-Cities will be participating in Niswonger Children's Hospital's annual Radiothon fundraiser, donating 10% of sales to the regional children's hospital. As a result of last year's event, McAlister's was able to donate $1,700 to the Niswonger Children's Hospital Radiothon. Participating locations include McAlister's Delis in Bristol, Johnson City, and Kingsport. Come dine with us for a great cause!
RSVP on Facebook Knoxville, TN. (December 7th, 2019) — Peak celebrated the holidays right this year, with good food and good times together. The Peak Restaurants annual Holiday Party was held once again at Hunter Valley Farm in Knoxville, Tennessee. Adding to the holiday cheer, the restaurants also hosted Christmas parties with prizes and awards on-location for team members.
